To reduce stress on myself, I decided to take a break from writing my blog and newsletter for several months. One of my novels was nominated for 2 awards last year and I decided that even though I wanted to continue with my coaching work because I find it inspiring to help people create the lives that they want, I didn’t want to do any writing other than fiction. Thus my sabbatical.
Part of me told myself it wasn’t okay to do this. I mean, how can I run my business and not do my blog or newsletter? To my conventional mind, this was insanity. But I’m trying to think outside the box and trust that what inspires me, so I broke the ‘rules’ and did the writing I wanted to do.
(Interestingly enough, the title of my next book, which is young adult fiction, is ‘Saving Crazy’ : )
And I’m busier than ever. So, thank you for your patience. But I will be blogging and doing my newsletter again now with some more regularity so keep eye out. I want to bring you lots of tips and tools for handle anxiety and stress and live an inspired, ‘Best’ Life.
Speaking of inspiration, here’s a short YouTube video on living more authentically to your true self. It’s short and inspiring so give it a watch.
