HOW IS LIFE CHALLENGING YOU?
Are you facing:
- the pain or confusion of a failed marriage or important relationship?
- frustrating personal limitations?
- a scary health diagnosis?
- an unsettling financial crisis?
- a job loss?
- the humiliation of abuse?
How you deal with any of these challenges will depend on 1 thing: YOUR RESOURCES
Let me explain. Let’s imagine you had to climb a sizable mountain. Without resources, clothes, training, equipment, that would be impossible. But if you got yourself a few Sherpas and had excellent mountain climbing teachers to guide you, plus fabulous equipment, the task would be challenging, but doable and perhaps even exciting.
So, however painful, difficult or impossible that situation you’re facing right now feels, think about ‘resources’ and how to get yourself more. If you want ideas, click here fora ‘free’, 30-minute Idea Session.
You’ll come away from this free session with:
- a clear idea of the component part of the challenge you’re facing.
- ideas about what resources you’re going to need.
- a strategic action plan.
- tons of support and accountability for getting through your challenge.
Sometimes Life just throws tough stuff our way. When that happens, our job is to dig ourselves out of the muddy holes of disappointment, climb the craggy mountains of relationships or forge the uncertain terrain of loss whilst keeping an open heart and optimism.
The question isn’t IF we’re going to get tough stuff thrown our way–we will! The question is only how well we will deal with the tough stuff when it comes.
When life knocks you down, are you going to stay down? Okay, maybe you can pull yourself up and carry on, but can you do that with equanimity and grace or will you have an embittered heart?
In my experience, after 20 years of coaching people, people from every part of the world and people with every kind of problem, I’ve noticed that what makes it the biggest difference is s not so much the difficulty of the challenge but the quality of support. In other words, no matter what you’re racing, how painful, embarrassing or hurtful, if you have the support, you can get through it.
